Our daycare center "Little Munchkins" is a German-English educational institution located in Berlin-Pankow, offering a holistic framework for future-oriented pedagogical work.
In our facilities, we provide expert and age-appropriate guidance for every child. The daycare "Little Munchkins" accommodates up to 24 children, ranging from 20 months to school entry age, while "Little Flowers" supports 25 children from 12 months up to school entry age.
Our pedagogical approach is specifically aimed at international, bilingual families (German-English) who entrust their children to our institution. We place particular emphasis on preserving and further developing the existing English language skills of the children. Parallel to this, we focus strongly on the holistic promotion of language development, especially in learning the German language for those children who do not yet have it in their language repertoire. Our qualified educators, who are native speakers of both English and German, sensitively accompany the children and support them in developing and strengthening their language skills in both languages at the highest level.
In addition, we offer an innovative urban-rural concept that gives children the opportunity to explore the seasons in a playful and exploratory way. Particularly the older groups benefits from two weekly forest days, where they become little nature explorers. Our main focus is on providing children in an urban environment with a nature-oriented free space that promotes their free and creative play and supports their natural joy of movement. We create an educational environment that builds on the individual needs and interests of each child, thus enabling holistic development.
