Locations in Berlin Pankow - daycare place Little Munchkins & daycare place Little Flowers
The daycare center is located on the ground floor of a residential building and has two spacious and light-filled group rooms, which were designed with great attention to detail and in consideration of pedagogical principles. Additionally, the daycare is equipped with a well-appointed children's bathroom, including a changing table. A functional coatroom, a practical serving kitchen, an efficient office, an employee restroom, and an additional basement complete the interior setup. The total area extends over approximately 163 square meters.
Our outdoor area offers the children the opportunity to express their creativity in their own garden on an additional 100 square meters. We place great importance on professional design and offer the children the chance to experience the cycle of nature in our vegetable beds. Furthermore, a lovingly designed garden house serves as a retreat, and a garden children's kitchen designed specifically for them is available, where they can playfully unleash their imagination by baking sand cakes.
Our team consists of well-trained, experienced pedagogical professionals. Together, we create the framework for loving, holistic support of children in all areas of life and development. The child is at the center of our attention, with all its needs, peculiarities, and abilities. We respect the personality of each child, regardless of its origin, and recognize them with their strengths, talents, and interests.

Dear Parents,
Due to the consistently positive feedback and the ongoing high demand for childcare places in our community, we are pleased to announce the upcoming opening of our second location, "Little Flowers" daycare, located at Siegfriedstr. 11c, 13156 Berlin-Pankow, right opposite the beautiful Schlosspark with its small enchanting river. The "Little Flowers" integrates our organizational concept and offers a familial setting with space for 25 children aged 12 months to school entry. The opening hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
With this expansion, we are increasing our capacity and contributing to effectively extending the childcare services for our international families in the Pankow region. We are convinced that through the second location, we will make a significant contribution to the community, benefiting many families.

The “Little Sunshine” daycare center is located at Lederstraße 62 in 13086 Berlin-Pankow. Because of its immediate proximity to the “Little Munchkins” daycare center, there is close collaboration between the two facilities, from which children, families, and educational teams benefit equally.
The facility features large, bright group rooms that offer a wide range of opportunities for play, physical activity, and collaborative learning. A dedicated art studio provides space for creative expression and artistic exploration. Two elevated platforms expand the rooms to include additional play areas and quiet spaces, while a climbing wall encourages children to be active and supports their motor skill development.
A dedicated outdoor area complements the indoor space and allows children to move around in the fresh air every day, play freely, and experience nature firsthand. The immediate surroundings are also regularly incorporated into the daily educational routine.
At “Little Sunshine,” we care for up to 25 children ranging in age from 12 months until they start school. This allows families to take advantage of our bilingual educational approach starting in early childhood.
Our educational approach is based on the proven “Little Munchkins Family” concept. The focus is on the children’s holistic development, bilingual language education in German and English, musical experiences, and a mindful, experiential connection to nature and the environment.
The sense of community within the “Little Munchkins Family” is also fostered through shared celebrations and events. Special highlights of the daycare year include our big summer festival and the annual sports day at the Kissingen sports field. Here, the older children from all three locations come together to spend a day of sports and build a sense of community that extends beyond their own daycare group.
An international team of qualified early childhood educators supports the children according to their age and individual development. Especially for the youngest children, reliable relationships, a gentle transition period, and a sense of safety and security are of particular importance.
Diversity, different family and cultural backgrounds, as well as individual abilities and interests, are a natural part of our daycare routine. We recognize each child’s unique personality and give them the opportunity to develop at their own pace within a supportive community.
